loosely based on the gritty optical soundtrack of the opening scenes to Ridley Scott’s Alien, these are just some of the base sounds I’ve created for the Hacker’s computer interface. Like the robot fly sounds, these are mapped to the keyboard also and can be performed to picture. There are similar sets for CU, short and far.

I’ve built up a library of about 80 clicks zaps and buzzes for the robot fly. I’m able to map these to a keyboard and perform them to picture. This is an example of what I think he sounds like.

Above is an example of the joy and flexibility of multi layer guns. Each set of shots is built from the same 5 core layers.  Adjusting panning and level of any of the layers gives you great control over distance and perspective while keeping a sense that it’s the same weapon.

This one is nearly done, with the exception of our boy Benny, who needs some frames still. The soldier and his effects and secondaries are complete, though.

The canvas has been expanded considerably to allow for the camera to slowly push in, maintaining the framing of the characters but steadily drawing down the distance between them to point-blank range.
